Little Cottage Cookie Co. was born in May 2020. As businesses and school shutdowns swept the nation, this teacher by day needed a creative escape from the anxiety of the world and everything “the virus” (as we refer to it in my house).
An “I could do that!” late night idea led to grabbing cookie cutters from Walmart and using a wine bottle as a rolling pin to create my first batch of cookies- Easter bunnies and chicks for my children’s baskets.
Once I posted pictures on social media, I decided this may be something we could do on holidays to help families and friends celebrate the seasons. After selling over 300 cookies for the first Mother’s Day order, before I knew it my kitchen and calendar were filled with customized cookies for parties, showers, and holidays throughout 2020. What was once a heavy, horrible year also became one of the best years of my life as I was able to find something full of joy and a way to spread celebration.
Little Cottage Cookie Co. is growing so quickly! With monthly holiday sales, specialty cookies for any event, pop-ups at local businesses, and public and private cookie decorating classes, the possibilities are endless!
